Vista Lodge, BC Canada
Join Prism Outdoor Project at Vista Lodge for a week of epic backcountry skiing. Heli flight in from Golden BC right to the lodge with three huge drainages of amazing skiing right out the door. We’ve got the best chef in the province lined up to style us out with amazing food. Certified guides manage hazard and plan each day as we explore and shred amazing terrain. Late winter allows for long travel days with plenty of light as we go big in the zone.
After a full day of skiing return to the lodge for appetizers and a sauna before an amazing dinner. Share the tales of the day over a delicious dinner and get ready to do it again. The lodge based setting is the best bet for out the door skiing with virtually no travel time.
Vista Lodge is positioned at treeline in the Esplanade Range just Northeast of Rogers Pass in British Columbia Canada. If the weather or visibility is poor we have awesome tree skiing right from the door. On clear days we go up into the alpine and over into the nearby Colpitty and Cupola drainages for farther afield adventures.
Typical days start with an early coffee and breakfast by 7:30 or so. Morning hazard briefing and plan and then we head out by 9:00. Spend the day exploring and hunting for the best skiing for the crew. Long cruisers? Steep couloirs? Yup! Weve got it all. Most groups average 3500-5000 feet per day at a fun but chill pace. Want to do more? Line up a crew and we can send it as much as you can!
